Installation Procedure

Install the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer (1).

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer nuts (1).
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Connect the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer electrical connector.
Position the carpet to the floor.
Install the RF seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .
Install a scan tool.
Using the special functions menu on the scan tool, reset the yaw rate sensor.
Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
