Installation Procedure

  1. Install the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer (1).

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer nuts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Connect the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer electrical connector.
  5. Position the carpet to the floor.
  6. Install the RF seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .
  7. Install a scan tool.
  8. Using the special functions menu on the scan tool, reset the yaw rate sensor.
  9. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
