Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear shield to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the rear shield bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 75 N.m (55 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear shield bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install the front shield to the vehicle.
  5. Install the front shield bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

  6. Install the front shield bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
