Endgate Lock Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the spare tire carrier.
2. Open the end gate.
3. Remove the striker bolt.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the striker bolt.

Tighten the striker bolt to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

2. Close the end gate and verify the latch operation and reopen.
3. Close the end gate.
4. Latch and secure the spare tire carrier.
