Liftgate Wedge Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the liftgate.




2. Remove the fastener (1) retaining the wedge to the liftgate.
3. Remove the wedge (2) from the liftgate.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the wedge (2) to the liftgate.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the fastener (1) retaining the wedge to the
liftgate.

Tighten the fastener to 9 Nm (7 lb ft).
