Circuit/System Verification

  1. With the engine at normal operating temperature, raise the engine speed to 2,000 RPM for 10 s. DTC P0013 should not set.
  2. Command the CMP actuator to 20 percent. The CMP actuator angle desired parameter should match the CMP actuator actual parameter.
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
