Inflatable Restraint Front End Sensor Replacement

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution .

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the upper air baffle and deflector.
1 Inflatable Restraint Front End Sensor Mounting Bolt (Qty: 4, 2 per sensor)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  11 N.m (97 lb in)

2 Connector Position Assurance (CPA) Connector
3 Inflatable Restraint Front End Sensor
