Low-Reverse Brake: Disassembly

  1. Remove snap ring and remove reaction plate. Remove and count number of lined plates, steel plates. Record number of plates for reassembly reference. Remove pressure plate. If plates are to be reused, keep them in same order and direction (as removed) for reassembly.
  2. Using Spring compressor, compress piston and remove piston snap ring. Remove return spring and waved spring. Remove piston, then remove "D" shaped rings from piston.
