Air Bag Control Module: Service Precautions

CAUTION
- Never attempt to disassemble or repair the SRSCM. If faulty, replace it.
- Do not drop or subject the SRSCM to impact or vibration. If denting, cracking, deformation, or rust are discov ered in the SRSCM, replace it with a new SRSCM. Discard the old one.
- After deployment of an air bag, replace the SRSCM with a new one.
- Never use an ohmmeter on or near the SRSCM and use only the Scan Tool.
