Vehicle Speed Sensor
The Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), located within the speedometer, uses a reed switch to sense speedometer gear revolutions. The VSS converts speedometer gear revolution (vehicle speed) into pulse signals which are sent to the ECM.
