Retrieving DTC(S)

NOTE: A scan tool is needed to perform diagnostic test.
  1. Connect and operate scan tool following manufacturer's instructions. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC) located on left side of dash. Turn ignition on. Retrieve DTC(s). Refer to appropriate diagnostic repair procedure.
  2. Clear DTC(s) after repair is done following scan tool manufacturer's instructions, or by disconnecting negative battery cable for at least 15 seconds. Verify no DTC(s) are reset. Disconnect scan tool.
