Malfunction Indicator Lamp: Testing and Inspection

MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL) INSPECTION

1. After turning "ON" the ignition key, check that the lamp illuminates continuously without engine running.
2. If the lamp does not illuminate continuously with out engine running, check for an open circuit in harness, blown fuse and blown bulb.
