Component Tests: Sub-Switch

NOTE: On Elantra and Tiburon, sub-switch is incorporated into multifunction switch. If sub-switch is defective, multifunction switch assembly must be replaced.

Disconnect multifunction switch harness connector. Check continuity between switch terminals with switch in specified position. See SUB-SWITCH CONTINUITY table. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . If switch does not test as specified, replace multifunction switch.
