Removal & Installation: CLOCKSPRING: Installation

Ensure front wheels are in straight-ahead position. Align mating mark and neutral position indicator of clockspring. Install clockspring onto steering column. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten steering wheel nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Reactivate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Check AIR BAG indicator light to ensure system is functioning properly. See AIR BAG SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
