Cruise Control Main Switch

Remove cruise control main switch and disconnect harness connector. Check continuity between indicated switch terminals with switch in appropriate position. See CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST table. See Fig 1 . See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If continuity is not as specified, replace cruise control main switch.

CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST

Switch Position ⁽¹⁾

Continuity Between Terminals No.

1 & 6; 2 & 5; 4 & 6

Off

1 & 6; 2 & 5

⁽¹⁾	Continuity should exist between terminals No. 2 and 5 with switch in either position. If continuity is not present check illumination bulb. If continuity does not exist between terminals No. 1 and 4 with switch in ON position, check switch operation indicator bulb.
