Air Bag System Operation Check

Turn ignition on. SRS Service Reminder Indicator (SRI) light should flash for 6 seconds, then turn off. If SRS SRI does not function as stated, a failure has occurred in SRS. Repair malfunctioning SRS. See DIAGNOSIS in appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS.
