Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe and 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The intake air temperature sensor (IAT Sensor), located in Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, is a resistor-based sensor for detecting the intake air temperature. The intake air temperature information from the sensor helps the PCM provide the necessary fuel injection.
