Manual Transaxle Shift Control: Removal

  1. After removing the shift knob, remove the floor console upper cover with a flat-bladed screwdriver.

  2. Remove the screws and pull the floor console out.

  3. Remove the floor console side cover.

  4. Remove the cotter pins and clips (shift lever side).
  5. Remove the shift lever assembly.
  6. Remove the retainer and bolts.
  7. Remove the cotter pins and clips (transaxle side).
  8. Remove the shift cable and select cable.
