Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

Inspection

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect evaporator temperature sensor.
3. Using the multi-tester, Measure resistance between terminal "1" and "2" of evaporator temperature sensor.




Specification






Replacement

1. Remove the console extension cover (A).




2. Remove the left side cover (A).




3. Remove the crash pad lower cover (A).




4. Disconnect the diagnosis connector (A).




5. Remove the reinforcing panel (A).




6. Remove the shower duct (A).




7. Remove the evaporator temperature sensor (A), by pulling it after rotating 90° in a counterclockwise direction.




8. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
