Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the timing chain.

    (Refer to "TIMING CHAIN ")

  2. Remove the CVVT assembly.
    1. A: LH exhaust CVVT
    2. B: LH intake CVVT

    3. C: RH intake CVVT
    4. D: RH exhaust CVVT

      NOTE: When removing the CVVT assembly bolt, prevent the camshaft from rotating by using a wrench at position A.
