Repair Procedure: Removal

  1. Remove the Engine cover.

    Refer to REMOVAL )

  2. Remove the Air cleaner assembly and air duct.

    Refer to REMOVAL )

  3. Remove the Battery and battery tray.

    (Refer to REMOVAL )

  4. Set shift lever to N position.
  5. Separate the control cable from the control shaft after remove the pin (A) and washer (B).

  6. Remove the control shaft assembly after loosening the bolts.

    7. Tightening torque:  19.6 ~ 26.5 N.m (2.0 ~ 2.7 kgf.m, 14.5 ~ 19.5 lb-ft)
