DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor signal voltage
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short in signal circuit
  3. B1/S1
General Enable Conditions
  • Fuel feed back control active
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10.7V
  • Upstream O2S Heater control On
Case1 Enable Conditions
  • S2 voltage is higher than 0.55V
Threshold Value
  • S1 sensor voltage is between 0.06V and 0.4V
Diagnostic Time
  • 15 sec
Case2 Enable Conditions
  • Downstream O2S voltage is lower than 0.15V
  • Dew point end check
Threshold Value
  • S1 sensor voltage is between 0.6V and 1.08V
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 sec
Case3 Enable Conditions
  • Time after dew point end detected is higher than 10 sec
Threshold Value
  • The number of that the absolute value of Δusvk is greater than 2V during 0.04 sec after turning on and off a heater is more than or equal to 5 times.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
