DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Soak time counter error
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short to ground in power circuit
  3. Open or Short to ground in signal circuit
  4. MAPS
  5. ECM/PCM
Enable Conditions Case 1
  • Engine "ON" is higher than 10 sec.
  • Battery voltage is higher than 8V.
Case 2
  • The internal memory is normal.
Threshold value Case 1
  • The deviation between the value by LPC and the value by internal counting is higher than 10 sec.
Case 2
  • LPC is reset to "0" abnormally.
Diagnosis Time
  • -
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
* LPC (Low Power Counter): Time counter after IG OFF
