General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check CAN communication status
  1. Check vehicle optional information and performance
  2. Perform cluster coding performance
  3. Check EPB, TPMS, ESC, MDPS, ABS, AIRBAG CAN line or Module
  4. Check Cluster
Enable Conditions
  • Failed cluster coding performance
Threshold Value
  • TPMS CAN error
  • End of Line has TPMS option information even though TPMS has not been detected on the CAN BUS
Diagnostic Time
  • Mismatched coding code with real vehicle.
DTC Erasing Time
  • In case of correctly performed coding procedure or erased DTC after solved problem
