DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  1. Open in signal harness
  2. Open in ground harness
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
  4. Faulty Heated O2 Sensor (HO2S)
Enable Conditions
  • O2 Sensor operative readiness is detected
  • O2 sensor element resistance is lower than 0.7kΩ or heater max. heating or normal heating for more than 50 sec.
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 sensor element resistance is bigger than 25kΩ
Diagnostic Time
  • 2.5 sec.
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Drive Cycles
