Monitor DTC Status
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" and click "DTC Status" to check DTC information.
- Read the "DTC State" parameter.
- Is the DTC "Present"?
"PRESENT"
- Replace the 4WD ECM with a working one and check for proper operation. If it works properly, put the new 4WD ECM in place.
- Repair or replace the relevant component(s) as necessary, and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
"HISTORY"
- The memory was not cleared after repair. Clear the DTC and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
