Monitor DTC Status
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" and click "DTC Status" to check DTC information.
- Read the "DTC State" parameter.
- Is the DTC "Present"?
"PRESENT"
- If there is any DTC related to a wheel sensor after monitoring the ESC (ESP) system, repair it first and see if the DTC is cleared from the 4WD module. Then go to next procedure.
"HISTORY"
- This can be an intermittent fault caused by poor contact of the connector or wire harness. Or, the control module's memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair or replace the relevant component(s) as necessary, and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
