Tailgate Lock Module Inspection
- Remove the Tailgate Lid Trim.
(Refer to Body - "LIFTGATE TRIM ")
- Disconnect the connectors from the actuator
- Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground as displayed below. To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
- Checking the tailgate of the vehicle power option power refers to the tailgate module.
