DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Open in Downstream O2 Sensor Signal Circuit
  3. Open in Downstream O2 Sensor Ground Circuit
  4. Faulty Downstream O2 Sensor
Enable Condition
  • HO2S operative readiness is detected

    (Sensor element resistance is lower than 1kΩ or heater maximum heating or normal heating for more than 75s)

  • Battery voltage higher than 10V and lower than 16V
  • No relevant DTC present
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 Sensor element resistance is higher than 22.5kΩ
  • Open circuit
Diagnostic Time
  • 2.5s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
