Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Faulty LIN communication line between ECM and alternator
  3. Faulty alternator
  4. Faulty ECM
Enable Condition
  • Engine run time is more than 2s
  • Battery voltage is greater than 11V
Threshold Value
  • LIN communicating error with alternator
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • No MIL On (DTC only)
