Integrated Body Control Unit (IBU)

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad center panel.

    (Refer to Body - "CRASH PAD CENTER PANEL ")

  3. Remove the IBU (A) after loosening mounting bolt and nuts.

  4. Disconnect the IBU connector (A).

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE:
    • Vehicles equipped with digital key, fingerprint recognition systems perform "IAU-IBU learning" after IBU exchange.

      (Refer to Digital Key System - "IAU-IBU Learning method ")

    • After replacing the IBU, connect the diagnostic device to execute "Variant coding".

      (Refer to Integrated Body Control Unit - "VARIANT CODING ")

    • After replacing the IBU, connect the diagnostic device to execute "Smart Key Code Saving".

      (Refer to Smart Key System - "SMART KEY ")

    • After replacing the IBU, connect the diagnostic device to execute "Wheel Sensor ID Writing".
