Repair Procedures: Removal

Information 

• With the ignition off, press the brake pedal and press the "N" button (A) for 3 seconds.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
2. Remove the air duct and the air cleaner assembly.

   (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

3. Remove the electronic shift actuator.

   (Refer to Automatic Transaxle Control System - "ELECTRONIC SHIFT ACTUATOR ")

4. Disconnect the position sensor connector (A).

5. Loosen the mounting bolts (A) and then removing the position sensor (B).
