Repair Procedures: Installation
- Check that the shaft (A) is in the "N" position.
- Install the position sensor (B).
- Install the position sensor "N" fixing SST (No.:09459 - 4G100) (D) in the sensor (A), case pin (B) and anti-rotation guide (C).
- Install the bolts (A) in the position sensor.
Tightening torque:
9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0-1.2 kgf.m, 28.9 - 33.9 lb-ft)
- Remove the position sensor "N" fixing SST (No.:09459 - 4G100) (B).
- Install the electric shift actuator (A).
Tightening torque:
20.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.1 - 2.7 kgf.m, 15.2 - 19.5 lb-ft)
- Connect the electric shift actuator (A) and position sensor (B).
- Install the wiring (A) after tightening the bolt.
- Install the Hybrid Power Control Unit (HPCU) assembly. (Refer to Hybrid control system - "HPCU ")
- Install the TCM.
- Drain the coolant of hybrid motor cooling system. (Hybrid Motor System - "COOLANT ")
- Drain the engine coolant. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "COOLANT ")
- Connect the high voltage cable. (Refer to Automatic Transaxle System - "REPAIR PROCEDURES ")
- Check that operating surely at each range of the position sensor corresponding to each position of electric shift button.
