Battery Sensor

  1. Substitute with a known-good the battery sensor.
  2. Turn off the ignition switch.
  3. Connect the GDS and go to "Current Data".
  4. Clear DTC and Test-drive under the enable conditions.
  5. After the road test, check the 'DTC'.
  6. Is the DTC 'U04B100' displayed again?

    YES 

    • Check for poor connection between ECM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.

    NO 

    • Check ECM for contamination, deterioration, or damage. Substitute with a known-good ECM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace ECM and then go to "Verification Of Repair " procedure.
