Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn the ignition switch OFF, and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - " AIR CLEANER REPAIR PROCEDURES ")
- Remove the high pressure fuel pipe.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System - " FUEL LINE ")
- Disconnect the CVVD actuator connector (A).
- Remove the ground (B).
- Remove the CVVD actuator (C) after loosening the mounting bolt.
Tightening Torque:
19.6 - 24.5 N.m (2.0 - 2.5 kgf.m, 14.5 - 18.1 lb.ft)
