Final DTC Checking

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2024 Hyundai Kona. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Information

After repairing the problem using the DTC guide, it is essential to verify if all faults have been corrected.

In this case, check if the fault code is cleared by exchanging it with a normal sensor.

  1. Clear the stored fault code by using the diagnostic equipment.
  2. After starting the engine, search the fault code again.
  3. Check if the fault code reoccurred in the diagnostic equipment.

    No fault code / OK

    System is now working properly.

    Release the vehicle.

    Fault Code Regeneration / NG

Go to "DTC Inspection (Present, History)"  from the re-check for the cause of the fault.

(If there is any inspection procedure which has not been performed in the entire flow chart, inspect it first.)
