Position Sensor: Removal

Information 

• With the ignition ON depress the brake pedal, operate the SBW lever, place it in the N position and then disconnect the battery (-) cable.

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct.

   (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

2. Remove the battery and battery tray.

   (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")

3. Disconnect the electronic shift actuator connector (A).

4. Remove the electronic shift actuator (A) after removing the bolts.

5. Disconnect the position sensor connector (A).

6. Remove the position sensor (A) after removing the bolts.
