Body Domain Control Unit

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE:
    • When replacing the body domain control unit, perform the following procedure using a diagnostic device.

(Refer to Smart Key System - "SMART KEY CODE SAVING ")

(Refer to Suspension System - "TPMS SENSOR ")

(Refer to Body Domain Control Unit - "VARIANT CODING ")

    • Device learnings such as "IAU-IBU", "IAU-FRM" and "IAU-FPM," and "IAU Reset" are done through the diagnostic device. (Replacing IAU will remove all saved data. Device learning is required.)

(Refer to Digital Key System - "LEARNING METHOD ")

    • Device learning must be performed. It is a key creation process for encrypted communication.
      • Information on existing smartphone keys and NFC card keys stored in the vehicle is deleted. (However the smart key information still remains. Use the smart key to start the engine.)
      • To re-register the smart phone key, the driver needs to perform "Digital Key Reset" from his/her smart phone. Only reset the smart phone key for the vehicle you would like to re-register.
      • NFC card key also needs re-registration. Use the card key you have previously used. (New card key is also available for registration.)
    • When replacing OTA controller, use the diagnostic device to update S/W. (If the S/W update is not complete, OTA update is not possible.)

(Refer to Security & Vehicle Ignition System - "OVER THE AIR (OTA) ")
