NFC Key Card Registration Process

Follow the below instruction to register NFC card key.

1. Both smart keys should be inside the vehicle for registration.

   If only one smart key is in the vehicle, execute "Card Key Registration Mode Activation" on the diagnostic device, and register within 5 minutes.

2. Follow the below instruction depending on the number of the smart keys possessed.

   NOTE:

   • When there is a previously enrolled NFC key card, the "Enroll" button on the User's Settings menu is deactivated so press "Deletion" to delete the NFC key card and register new one. (You should have your smart key to delete in the vehicle.)
   • Card key "Register" and "Remove" could be done in multiple times. Although a new card key is registered, the old one could be registered again for the same vehicle.
   • The card key that is already being used cannot be registered in other vehicles.
   • Even if the BDC is replaced, the driver may still use already registered NFC card key.
   • If the cart key is placed near the wireless charger during wireless charging of a smartphone, the card key can be damaged. While charging the smartphone wirelessly, remove the card key from the wireless charger pad.
