Category Definition Fingerprint re-registration required Resolve
    Criteria Reason
Registered fingerprint condition (Coverage) The ratio of the fingerprint area used for registration to total finger indicated by the algorithm. Condition = "BAD" Fingerprint is only partially registered. Use the fingerprint that are not deformed or damaged. Lay the finger thoroughly on the scanner for easier recognition.

    Information

    • If the condition displayed is "BAD," fingerprint recognition may often fail. However it is not the issue of the sensor.
    • Higher the score, better the chances for success in fingerprint recognition.
