July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Fuel Pump Control Unit

  1. Disconnect fuel pump control unit connector, located above fuel tank at rear of vehicle. Install 3 jumper wires from unit side of harness, terminals No. 5, 6 and 7, to ECU side of harness, terminals "E", "F" and "G" respectively. See Fig 1 .
  2. Connect first one, then 2, and finally 3 jumper wires as indicated in illustration. Using a DVOM, check voltage at fuel pump control unit connector as each jumper wire is connected. See Fig 1 . If voltage readings are not as indicated, replace fuel pump control unit.
