1) Check Input Signal Circuit

Turn ignition off and disconnect fuel temperature sensor harness connector. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between terminal "a" (White wire) and ground. If voltage is approximately 5 volts, go to next step. If voltage is not as specified, verify harness continuity in harness and connectors between ECM terminal No. 36 (White wire) and fuel temperature sensor. Repair harness or connectors as necessary.
