Component Inspection

  1. Reconnect all disconnected harness connectors.
  2. Start engine and let it idle. Check voltage between ECM terminal No. 12 and ground under the following conditions:
    • Steering wheel is being turned: voltage should be .5-4.5 volts.
    • Steering wheel is not being turned: voltage should be .4-.8 volts.
    If voltage is not as specified, replace PSP sensor.
