Door Switch Check/With Navigation System
First perform the "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" in "BCM" with CONSULT-II, then perform the each trouble diagnosis of malfunction system indicated "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" of "BCM". Refer to CAN COMMUNICATION INSPECTION USING CONSULT-II (SELF-DIAGNOSIS) .
- Check Door Switch Input Signal
With CONSULT-II
Check door switches ("DOOR SW-DR" and "DOOR SW-AS") in "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.

Without CONSULT-II
Check voltage between combination meter connector and ground.

OK or NG
- OK : Door switch is OK.
- NG : GO TO 2.
- Check Door Switch
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect door switch and combination meter connector.
- Check continuity between door switch connector B17, B23 terminals 1 and combination meter connector M19 terminals 6, 7.
- Front door switch driver side
- 1 (W) - 7 (W): Continuity should exist.
- Front door switch passenger side
- 1 (P) - 6 (P): Continuity should exist.
- Check continuity between door switch connector B17, B23 terminals 1 and ground.
- 1 (W or P) - Ground: Continuity should not exist
OK or NG
- OK : GO TO 3
- NG : Repair or replace harness
- Check Door Switch
Check continuity between each door switch terminal 1 and body ground part of door switch.

OK or NG
- OK : GO TO 4
- NG : Replace malfunction door switch.
- Check Combination Meter Output Signal
- Connect combination meter connector.
- Check voltage between combination meter connector M19 terminal 6, 7 and ground.
- 6 (P) - Ground: Battery voltage
- 7 (W) - Ground: Battery voltage
OK or NG
- OK : Further inspection is necessary. Refer to symptom chart.
- NG : Replace combination meter.
