Back Power Window Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Back Window) 
    1. Check the resistance.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance 

        POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR BACK WINDOW)

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        Connector A-3 (UP) - Connector A-4 (E) UP Pressed Below 1 Ω
        Not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
        Connector A-2 (DN) - Connector A-4 (E) DOWN Pressed Below 1 Ω
        Not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.

    2. Check that the LED illuminates.
      1. Apply battery voltage to the power window regulator switch and check that the LED illuminates.

        OK 

        POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH AND LED ILLUMINATES

        Measurement Condition Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → Connector A-S (ILL+)
        Battery negative (-) → Connector A-1 (ILL-)        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.
