Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK CONTINUITY CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect display control unit harness connector M93 and around view monitor control unit harness connector M97.
- Check continuity between display control unit harness connector M93 and around view monitor control unit harness connector M97.
Display control unit Around view monitor control unit Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M93 48 M97 47 Yes 28 48
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK CONTINUITY CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT
Check continuity between display control unit harness connector M93 and ground.
Display control unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M93 48 No Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 3 .
NO
Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL
- Connect display control unit harness connector M93 and around view monitor control unit harness connector M97.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check signal between display control unit harness connector M93 and ground.
Terminals Condition Reference value (+) (-) Display control unit Connector Terminal M93 48 Ground "CAMERA" switch is ON or shift position is "R".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace display control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Replace around view monitor control unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
