Handling Precautions

  1. Do not get water on I-TEC system. Pay particular attention to the relay box and throttle valve switch connector.
  2. Always disconnect battery before charging. Ensure ignition key is off before disconnecting battery cable or any I-TEC component.
  3. When checking the electrical terminals of the ECU with a tester, DO NOT apply probe directly to terminal. Insert a pin into terminal from harness side, and perform the measurement through pin.
