Air Bag Module: Removal
- Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions and disable air bag system. See AIR BAG PRECAUTIONS and see DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
- From behind steering wheel, remove 4 screws attaching air bag module assembly to steering wheel. Disconnect air bag module wiring connector. See Figure . Remove air bag module. Store module assembly with pad surface upward.
