Anti-Lock Brake System: Operation: Accumulator
The accumulator is a pneumatic, nitrogen-gas filled reservoir which accumulates high-pressure brake fluid. Accumulator feeds high-pressure brake fluid to modulator valve through inlet side of solenoid valve. Accumulator charging pressure is 3669 psi (253 kg/cm2 ). Maximum operating pressure is 5104 psi (352 kg/cm2 ).
