Cancel Function

Cruise control system function is temporarily canceled when any of the following takes place: brake pedal is pressed, clutch pedal is pressed, cancel switch is operated, resume/accel switch is operated, when automatic transmission is shift out of any forward gear, or when vehicle speed exceeds 12-13 MPH over vehicle speed stored in memory.
Cruise control system function is completely canceled when fail-safe function is activated, ignition switch or main switch are turned off, or when vehicle speed decreases to 24 MPH.
