Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Isuzu Trooper. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove 4 screws from front (center) console assembly. Remove transmission shift lever knob (M/T) only.
  2. Remove transfer shift lever knob. Disconnect seat heater switch connectors (if equipped). Disconnect power and winter switch (A/T) only. Remove front console assembly.
  3. Remove 3 screws from lower cluster assembly. Disconnect cigarette lighter and ashtray illumination bulb connectors. Remove cigarette lighter bulb socket. Remove lower cluster assembly. Remove glove box assembly.
  4. Remove passenger's side lower cover. Remove passenger's side knee bolster. Locate cruise control module on right kick panel, next to blower motor. Disconnect cruise control module. Remove screws and cruise control module. To install, reverse removal procedure.
